As a pioneer in the field of treatment and manifestation of anxiety disorders, specifically among Black Americans, Dr. Neal-Barnett’s work and research has been highly regarded and sought after, from popular psychology journals to America’s largest syndicated news networks. Her position as director of Kent State’s Program for Research on Anxiety Disorders among African Americans (PRADAA) puts the groundbreaking research she has conducted into action. PRADAA’s mission is to transform the African American community by recognizing and responding to societal needs through education, innovation, intervention
