Binah.ai’s Health Data Platform is an AI-powered, video-based, software-only solution that transforms smartphones, tablets or PCs into a health and wellness monitoring tool. Binah.ai’s award-winning technology eliminates the friction associated with wearables (maintenance, shipment, upgrades, training) and allows anyone to extract a wide range of health parameters just by looking at the device&#39;s camera. How Our Technology Works
Binah.ai&#39;s solution applies a unique mix of signal processing and AI technologies combined with a proprietary mathematical backend to analyze a signal from the upper cheek region of a human face. The extraction is based on a remote photoplethysmography rPPG or PPG signal (using the touch of a finger on the device&#39;s rear camera for challenging environmental conditions like complete darkness).  
The technology applies motion compensation and illumination normalization, supports any gender and skin color, and does not analyze identifiable personal features (e.g., eyes). Offering a unique user experience with extraordinary ease-of-use and a technology that runs on the end-user’s device, Binah.ai’s non-invasive, contactless monitoring solution can be used by anyone, anywhere, with no training or even internet connection needed. Binah.ai&#39;s sympathetic stress level measurement is based on a combination of RRi raw data and the globally approved Baevsky and US/European Indexes. 
Binah.ai’s technology is currently in the process of receiving medical approval as a “software-as-a-medical-device” (SaMD) from several medical regulatory bodies worldwide, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the U.S., CE in Europe and PMDA in Japan.
