Overview of Diligent Robotics &amp; Moxi 
We’re an A.I. company creating robot assistants that help healthcare workers with routine tasks so they can focus on what they do best: patient care.  Our groundbreaking, female founders are social robotics experts and founded Diligent Robotics in 2017 to build robots with ever-evolving mobile manipulation, social intelligence, and human-guided learning capabilities. 
Moxi, our first robot teammate in the field today, works in hospitals to help clinical staff with non-patient-facing tasks so they have more time for patient care.  With up to 30% of a Care Team member’s time spent on fetching and delivering items for their patients, Moxi is designed to complete routine tasks and give back the precious resource of time to nurses and hospital staff. 
With nurse and staff shortages at an all-time high even before the onset of COVID-19, Diligent’s core technology enables Moxi to help hospitals run 24/7 by assisting clinical staff with non-patient-facing tasks like: 
•	Delivering lab samples that are normally hand-delivered.
•	Running patient supplies and items that may have been left for a patient at the front desk.
•	Fetching items from central supply that aren’t normally stocked on the patient care units.
•	Distributing PPE and lightweight equipment in a just-in-time-fashion so that hospitals can make efficient use of these limited resources; and, 
•	Delivering medications that would normally be hand carried.
Nurses are the last line of defense in patient care, and all of these are examples of the “one-off” tasks that fall onto their plates on a daily basis. While each of them may only happen every once and awhile, they add up to hours taken away from the bedside every shift. As hospitals and nursing units start to automate some of these tasks with Moxi, it means nurses and Care Team members can reallocate their time towards patient care and practice at the top of their license.
