HLTH Market Connect Sponsor Guide
***Note to all Prior Market Connect/Hosted Buyer Sponsors***
For the 2024 Market Connect Program we are launching the new technology we have been promising you. Although the structure of the program remains the same, the processes you may be familiar with in previous years have changed, so please be sure to read this document and enquire about any questions you may have.
Overview:
HLTH’s Market Connect Program (formerly known as Hosted Buyer Program) is a curated marketplace of health buyers and solution providers designed to facilitate highly efficient connections for real business interactions, creating the highest-value return in 15-minute, 1:1 meetings.
The Market Connect Program is based on double opt-in matchmaking where participants select their top choices of who they want to meet using our custom built matchmaking platform, called the HLTH Hub. Once you select your choices, our algorithm does the rest, generating your meetings based on mutual interest, availability, and preferences.
Program Schedule:
The Market Connect meetings will take place at assigned table numbers in the dedicated Market Connect Lounge booth# 128 on the Show Floor during following program time slots (PDT):

Monday, October 21st from 8:20 am - 5:15 pm PDT
Tuesday, October 22nd from 8:20 am - 5:15 pm PDT
When the platform launches on September 25th, participants will be able to manage their availability within the dedicated program times by indicating specific time slots in the matchmaking platform schedule they are able to participate in a potential buyer meeting.
Program Timeline:
Individuals verified to be engaging in harassing behavior will be subject to actions deemed appropriate by HLTH, including but not limited to:
Immediate removal from the event or digital platform without refund
Prohibition from participating in future HLTH events and platforms
Notification to law enforcement or relevant authorities if warranted

Sponsor Onboarding:
Sponsors receive access to the Sponsor Onboarding Portal to submit important deliverables. The company information collected (ie. company description, company website, product categories, target audience) will be used to create your company’s matchmaking profile on the Market Connect HLTH Hub - you can edit any of this information in the profile section of the HLTH Hub once the matchmaking has started.
In the Sponsor Onboarding Portal, there is also a task to designate your company’s Program Rep(s) for Market Connect. Please do so no later than Friday, September 20th 2024 in order to create a matchmaking profile and receive access to the Market Connect HLTH Hub.
Designate Your Program Rep(s):
Each sponsoring company who has purchased a meeting package to participate in the Market Connect Program must designate at least one ‘Program Rep’ who will receive program communications/reminders, and access to the HLTH Hub where they will schedule/manage their company’s buyer meetings.
The number of Program Reps you assign is dependent on the number of meetings your company has purchased, and is as follows:
Purchased 5 to 10 meetings - One designated Program Rep
Purchased 15 to 20 meetings - One to two designated Program Reps
Purchased 25 to 30 meetings - Up to three designated Program Reps
Purchased 30+ meetings - Up to four designated Program Reps
Each Program Rep will be given their own login to the HLTH Hub. This will give them access to their Company’s profile. As each Program Rep will have access to the same Company profile it’s imperative that they coordinate amongst themselves who they’d like to choose as their meeting preferences.
Alternatively, if your Company's meetings will be divided up between different divisions, you will be asked to assign a number of meetings to each division, and a Program Rep to each division. You can split your purchase up amongst your Program Reps as per your preference.
A full webinar tutorial on the HLTH HLTH Hub will be given on Thursday 19th September at 12 noon EST. Please check your emails in the run up to this webinar to ensure you do not miss it.
HLTH recommends designating a senior level sales leader to take the meetings onsite, but the Program Rep can assign meetings to anyone attending the event. All participants will have their personal meeting schedule within the HLTH event app and maintain full control of their matchmaking experience.
Changing your Program Rep:
Should your Program Rep change (swap out person A for person B), please notify the HLTH team ASAP by emailing marketconnect@hlth.com. We strongly discourage this practice unless it is prior to any activity taking place in the platform or unless absolutely necessary.
How to Access the Platform:
The HLTH Hub will launch on September 25th - at which time participants will have until October 11th to choose your meeting preferences prior to the event. A demo webinar providing instruction on how to navigate and use the HLTH Hub will take place on September 18th (Wednesday) and 19th (Thursday) at 12 noon EST; invitations will be sent to Program Reps ahead of time.
The designated Program Reps will receive an invite email with log-in details to gain exclusive access to the HLTH Hub.
The Program Rep will have the ability to view and select the participants who they most want to meet with.
This double opt-in process allows participants to maximize precious time at HLTH with mutually agreed-upon, valuable 15-minute, 1:1 meetings.
How to Set Up and Update Your Profile:
Log into the HLTH Hub using your HLTH ID to access the Market Connect Program.
Once logged in, you should see the Market Connect Program icon.
Click on it to access the Market Connect Program pages.
Note: Only users in the Market Connect Program will be able to see these pages. Contact marketconnect@hlth.com if there's any issues accessing the Market Connect Program pages
Profile Page:
The Profile page allows participants to view two profiles:
Company profile - Public details other participants in the program will see when they view your company
Participants profile - the hidden details about the participant(s)

How to Set Meeting Availability:
Before matchmaking can begin you must indicate your availability in the ‘Schedule’ section of the HLTH Hub. This will ensure that all your meetings are scheduled within your available time frame.
You will automatically be made available for all meeting time slots, to change your availability click on the time slot to make it unavailable. Once complete click the ‘Confirm’ button to save your time availability.
Please keep in mind, the platform automatically defaults to Las Vegas local time which is Pacific Daylight Time.
How to Select your Matches:
Once you have set your Meeting Availability you can proceed to the Matchmaking section of the HLTH Hub.
You will be presented with a list of all of your available matches. On each profile tile you will be able to see the Company the individual works for and their job title. By clicking on a profile tile you will launch a pop up providing more information about the organization, including a description of the organization, areas of interest and much more.
You can refine your search by using the search bar and filters. Use the search bar to input keywords, company names, or job titles. Or use the filtering system to refine your search to companies that meet your requirements.
To make a match, simply select whether the profile in question is a Top Pick (an individual you really want to meet with) or a Pick (an individual you would like to meet with). Additionally you select Not Interested, but this is not essential and will not impact who you meet with.
If you have no preference on who you would like to meet you can simply press the “Match for me” button and our AI program will take care of the rest.
When selecting your Top Picks and Picks you will be limited on the number of requests you can send based on the number of meetings you have purchased. The number of Top Picks you can select is based on the exact number of purchased meetings, and your Picks are three times the number of meetings you have purchased.
For example if you have purchased 10 meetings you can select 10 Top Picks and 30 Picks.
The platform is double opt-in and anti-spam, meaning both parties have to agree for a meeting to be confirmed.
How to Finalize Meetings:
After you have made your request you can progress to the Review section where you can review your own selection but also see who has requested to meet you. You can accept or decline these requests.
All matches matchmaking selection must be made before midnight October 11th. At this point no more matches can be made. Our AI algorithm will take charge and over the next few days will schedule your meetings. You will receive a notification when your schedule is ready to view.
Your Market Connect Meeting schedule will be published to you between October 14th and 16th. You will be able to view your Market Connect Meeting schedule in the main event app, you can also sync your meetings with your own personal calendar.
To sync your meetings with your personal calendar, follow these steps:
first open the HLTH 2024 event app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store. Login to the app as per the on screen instructions:
Open the Schedule & Meetings page seen on the main home page
Check your meetings are present and correct - it may take a some time for your meeting to first appear, if they aren’t there at first wait a few moments and then try again
Complete the sync by pressing the download icon located in the upper right corner of your screen
Select the Export to my Calendar option

The HLTH Hub will remain open through October 22nd should you need to modify your schedule at any time. All Market Connect meetings will take place at designated table numbers in the dedicated Market Connect Lounge on the Show Floor.
The HLTH team sends program reminders to all participants, leading up to the event. Please be sure to check your spam folder! There is no need to send any reminders or calendar invites to those participants with whom you already have meetings confirmed, the platform will automatically send them an email with the meeting information as well as daily reminders of all meetings each day.
How to Obtain Buyer Contact Information:
To be compliant with security/privacy laws and guidelines, we do not provide the contact details for participating Market Connect. We bring together both participants and sponsors as a 1:1 networking opportunity for both sides to vet each other and gauge potential synergies. Should there be a mutual desire to chat again in the future, the goal for these meetings for both sides is to secure contact information and another meeting. In some cases, either or both sides may not want to meet again, so we encourage both sides to exchange contact info over the chat on the platform or during their meeting itself. In-app messaging is only available for meetings that have been confirmed.
How to Purchase Additional Meetings:
The number of meetings purchased will determine how many Top Picks and Picks you will be able to select during matchmaking. Top Picks are equal to the number of meetings purchased and Picks are 3x times the number of meetings purchased. However, you will only be scheduled for the number of meetings you purchased.
Your company can increase the number of meetings purchased at any time during the matchmaking until October 10th by emailing marketconnect@hlth.com.
Market Connect meeting schedules must be finalized by Friday October 11th and live meetings start on Monday October 21st at HLTH.
Onsite Process and Meeting Guidelines:
All meeting reps are encouraged to conduct themselves reasonably and professionally and comply with HLTH’s Market Connect Program Guidelines:
Please arrive 5 minutes before your onsite meeting. At the start time of your meeting, there is no need to check-in, you may proceed directly to your assigned table.
Participants must agree to a 15 minute meeting with your company.
We will silently check-in each meeting taking place and track ‘no-shows’ if someone has not arrived after 5 minutes of the start time.
Participants may not have prior knowledge of your company or your products so we encourage you to prepare in advance and suggest the following items for consideration:
Communicate and customize your value proposition
Prepare any decks, demos or pitches you would like to share during the meeting
Indicate to the Buyer whether your company has had any prior discussions
Send any relevant materials or contact information you would like to share
Leave time for questions
End the meeting with specific requests relating to next steps, and remember to exchange contact information!
Please rate your meetings after the conclusion of each meeting whenever possible.
Information about Participants in the HLTH Hub is confidential and should not be:
1) shared outside of your organization
2) downloaded (including screenshots and spreadsheets) or
3) used in any way or for any purpose other than as specifically described in our instructions for the Market Connect Program. Anyone breaching this provision will be eliminated from the program with no refund and will be ineligible for participation in the program in future years.
You are not permitted to reach out to these individuals outside of the program based on their indicated interest in the Market Connect Program.
If any Buyer with whom you are scheduled to meet withdraws from the Program, we will make every effort to replace the meeting as follows:
Our Market Connect Concierge will reach out to assist you in replacing your meeting with another Buyer from a previous mutual match (if available). You will receive an email regarding the cancellation and the potential new meeting.
If we are unable to replace the canceled meeting, we will send you an email asking you to log back into the HLTH Hub to fulfill your canceled meeting with another buyer by either accepting a pending request or sending additional meeting requests to potential participants.
If we were unable to replace a canceled meeting, you may be eligible for meeting credits towards a future event.
Meeting Credit Policy:
Since meetings are based on a double opt-in model and depend on calendar availability, we cannot guarantee that all of the meetings purchased will be scheduled. Sponsors should make every effort possible to schedule their number of allotted meetings by engaging in the HLTH Hub by sending 2-3x as many requests as meetings purchased beginning when the program launches and continuing in the weeks and days leading up to HLTH.
For any unfulfilled meetings, we normally provide credits towards a future event during the post-event reconciliation process. Credit transfers are at the discretion of HLTH and these decisions will be based partially on activity in the platform. Sponsors who designate their Program Rep(s) late, after September 20th 2024, will not be eligible for credit transfers. Additionally, credit transfers will not be considered for contracts entered into after September 20th, 2024.
***Program Reps in Market Connect attending HLTH and taking meetings onsite are required to register for the event at www.hlth.com/2024event/register with paid or complimentary passes included with their sponsorship***
Please email marketconnect@hlth.com within the 30 day window after the HLTH event for any credit requests. HLTH will not process requests after November 22nd 2024.
Provide Feedback:
After the conclusion of HLTH, sponsors will be asked to provide feedback on their experience in the platform and for each individual meeting. Participants will be asked to provide feedback on their meetings as well.
