At an earlier time, Demetrios served as Deputy General Counsel and then Associate Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, playing a leading role in every part of the Department’s broad portfolio of agencies, including the Food & Drug Administration, the Office for Civil Rights, and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology. He has also built innovative practices at two leading health care law firms.
