Michael Talley is the Vice President of Clinical Operations and Virtual Care at CHRISTUS Health. His career in healthcare began as a respiratory therapist, a role deeply influenced by his own childhood experiences with asthma and frequent emergency room visits. Driven by a desire to improve health system practices Talley also currently sits as a Board Member of the ACHE North Texas chapter where he relentlessly champions better healthcare for all.
Talley is a transformative leader known for his ability to engage and inspire physicians, associates, and clinical staff. Since joining CHRISTUS Health in 2017, Talley has been at the forefront of expanding telehealth services. Under his guidance, the organization rapidly scaled its virtual care capabilities, with telemedicine visits increasing from just 10 in 2017 to 25% of outpatient visits by late 2020. Talley's efforts have been instrumental in integrating telemedicine across CHRISTUS Health’s network, significantly enhancing access to care.
Talley's passion for healthcare equity drives his initiatives to leverage technology for better patient outcomes, particularly for those with limited resources. He has championed the use of telehealth to provide essential follow-up care for chronically ill patients and has overseen efforts to make services accessible to patients who are hearing impaired or speak Spanish. Talley played a key role in centralizing CHRISTUS Health’s command centers and standardizing patient transfer processes.
At 39, Talley continues to lead with a vision of modern, responsive healthcare that meets the evolving needs of communities, reflecting his deep commitment to both clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Dr. Michael Botta serves as President and Co-founder of Sesame, a pioneering health services marketplace revolutionizing access to affordable care for individuals and self-insured employers nationwide. Under his leadership, Sesame has cultivated a vast network of clinicians across all 50 states, offering patients unparalleled affordability on a comprehensive range of clinical services, including in-person visits, imaging, laboratory services, and telehealth consultations. Dr. Botta spearheads Sesame's strategic clinical partnerships and enterprise collaborations, notably overseeing the company's role as a nationwide benefit for Costco Wholesale members. In 2024, Sesame is poised to celebrate the milestone of serving its one millionth patient.
A Harvard-trained health economist and policy expert, Dr. Botta earned his Ph.D. with a focus on healthcare systems and economics. Prior to co-founding Sesame, he distinguished himself as a leader in McKinsey & Company's healthcare practice and co-founded the firm's negotiation service line. Dr. Botta is a sought-after thought leader, frequently cited in media and industry forums for his expertise in health policy, digital health innovation, entrepreneurship, and executive leadership.

Melissa Cohen serves as the Chief Innovation and Transformation Officer at Cayuga Health System, where she leads strategic innovation and transformative initiatives. With a background in venture capital and healthcare startups, Melissa has held leadership roles in both venture capital and startup ventures. Melissa is also a current healthcare investor and an MBA candidate at The Wharton School. Additionally, Melissa is a Visiting Professor at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, focusing on innovation and venture capital. Melissa is an active angel investor/startup advisor.
