Jill Kalman

Dr. Jennifer Hall is the Chief of Data Science and Analytics at the American Heart Association. She leads the Association’s groundbreaking initiatives in cardiovascular medicine by leveraging data analysis, new technologies and strategic alliances to prevent or mitigate the impact of chronic diseases.

At the intersection of health, technology and science, Dr. Hall leads a highly diversified team of experts in biostatistics, epidemiology,  evaluation, health technology and products. These powerful factors come together to drive new evolutions in science through the Association’s Precision Medicine Platform, a cloud-based technology solution that empowers the global medical research community to accelerate breakthroughs in cardiovascular and brain diseases. Dr. Hall also leads the Research Goes Red initiative, which calls on women throughout the U.S. to contribute to health research. Dr. Hall oversees a diversified research grant portfolio focused on funding impactful and groundbreaking areas of health research. Dr. Hall is an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota and has served on numerous national and international committees.

Dr. Kalman joined Northwell in May 2014 as associate medical director in the office of the Chief Medical Officer, and as the associate medical director at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She later served as the executive director of Lenox Hill Hospital and was responsible for the quality of patient care, safety and day-to-day operations. Under Dr. Kalman's leadership, Lenox Hill elevated its reputation as a regional, national and global destination for top quality tertiary care. She and her team significantly expanded the breadth of clinical programs, successfully recruited physician talent and grew patient volume. She was instrumental in successfully leading the Lenox Hill response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its recovery efforts and achieving 91st percentile in the most recent Workforce Engagement Survey. Lenox Hill also received the coveted Magnet status last year for its commitment to nursing excellence.
 
Dr. Kalman was also the medical director for the office of patient and customer experience for Northwell Health, in which she led the initiative for the physician's role in the patient experience.
 
Dr. Kalman is an expert in congestive heart failure and has published extensively in that area. She began her career on the faculty at Mount Sinai Hospital. She also started and developed the Heart Failure Program at Beth Israel Medical Center and was subsequently recruited to New York University Medical Center as director of the Cardiomyopathy Program and chief of cardiac services of Tisch Hospital.
 
After graduating with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Kalman received her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency, chief residency and cardiology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, including a research fellowship in heart failure and cardiac transplantation.

Jackie Dacanay combines innovative methodologies and neurosciencedriven
strategies to transform workplace cultures, fostering a sense of
belonging, collective ownership, and collaboration. Her work helps teams
build a more engaged and productive workforce by addressing
organizational challenges through a blend of positive psychology and the
"happy" and "play" at work philosophy.
Jackie has been recognized as one of Chief Navigator's Top 10 HR
Executives and has received numerous accolades, including the Silicon
Valley 40 under 40 award, the YWCA Silicon Valley Tribute to Women in
Leadership award, the CHLA Women in Leadership award, and inclusion in
Diversity Women Magazine’s Power 100.
Over the past 20 years, Jackie has worked with a various organizations,
helping them reduce turnover, increase employee retention, and improve
both engagement and guest satisfaction scores. Her focus on creating
psychologically safe environments allows teams to thrive, ensuring
sustainable success and vibrant workplace dynamics.
