Madhavi Vemireddy

As NASCO’s President & CEO, Lori Logan works closely with leaders across health plans and NASCO to deliver a holistic portfolio of healthcare administrative products and services that put health plans in control of innovation, better member experiences, and driving affordability.

With over 30 years of experience as a healthcare executive, Lori’s expertise includes a focus on healthcare product innovation, product management, strategy and healthcare go-to-market strategies across both payer and provider segments. Her passion to improve and cure healthcare drives her talent to ensure a seamless flow within the industry. Lori has held leadership positions at athenahealth, UnitedHealthcare, Geneia (a subsidiary of Capital Blue Cross), Cigna, TriZetto, McKesson, and Choicelinx Corporation. Over the years, her achievements have included boosting brand awareness and loyalty, capturing market share, and increasing profitability. Her relentless focus on results and pragmatic sense has set a precedent, as she continues to lead and make an impact within the healthcare industry.

Lori has been recognized with the CEO Pinnacle Award for her innovative accomplishments while serving as President of TriZetto, and she was also awarded the Healthcare Advantage Consumer Outreach & Communications Award by Thomson Reuters. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Regis University and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University.


Madhavi Vemireddy, MD is Cleo’s CEO, having previously served as Cleo’s Chief Clinical Officer. Madhavi is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has over 24 years of experience in advanced clinical analytics, population health programs, and digital health products. At ActiveHealth Management (CVS Health Company), Madhavi served as CMO and Head of Product. She led a multidisciplinary team of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, program design and product managers focused on the development and integration of clinical analytics with clinical programs and digital platforms to help drive patient engagement and quality improvement across the spectrum of health (end of life care, complex case management, condition and lifestyle management) with proven cost savings. The proprietary and patented clinical analytics suite called CareEngine delivered evidence-based recommendations and improvement in care for over 22M Aetna and multi-payer members and still remains a part of the CVS Health evidence-based analytics suite.

Madhavi joined Cleo through the CareTribe acquisition, where she was the co-founder and COO. At CareTribe, Madhavi applied her population health experience to support family caregivers, irrespective of the age or condition of their loved one(s). As Cleo’s CEO, Madhavi leads a mission-driven team dedicated to building a culture and care ecosystem where caregivers can get the support needed at work and at home. Cleo’s analytical, digital and expert service support model is rooted in a population health framework and focused on driving better family health outcomes.

Madhavi has a personal story that informs her work. As a family caregiver, she is part of the “Sandwich Generation,” caring both for her two children and for her parents. Her eldest son is on the Autism Spectrum with significant motor and speech delays. Her personal experience caring for him helped identify the gaps we have in our healthcare ecosystem for supporting family caregivers.

Lisa Suennen has spent over 35 years in healthcare as venture capitalist, entrepreneur, operating executive, and strategy consultant. 

Lisa serves as Managing Partner of American Heart Association Ventures, a platform of four venture funds focused on cardiovascular and brain health.  Those funds include Go Red for Women, Cardeation Capital, Social Impact Funds and Studio Red

Lisa has held General Partner roles at Manatt Ventures, Psilos Group and GE Ventures, where she led the healthcare venture fund.  She has also held executive roles at Canary Medical, Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, and was a key management team member at Merit Behavioral Care (fka American Biodyne), which grew from startup to $800M in revenue, and went public before being acquired.  Lisa was founding CEO of CSweetener, a company focused on matching mentors with rising female healthcare leaders (sold to HLTH Foundation).  

Lisa chairs the International Investment Committee of the Australian ANDHealth Digital Health Fund, is a founding member of the Duke Margolis Institute Capital Impact Council, and serves on the HLTH Community women’s advisory group.  She is past chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the NASA -funded Translational Research Institute for Space Health and serves on the advisory boards of several emerging companies.  Lisa is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Health Innovators Fellowship and is on faculty at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.  Lisa writes the Venture Valkyrie blog and is an internationally recognized author and speaker.
