Nathan Wood

Nassib Chamoun is a successful serial healthcare entrepreneur, researcher, and inventor. He is founder and CEO of Boston-based Health Data Analytics Institute (HDAI), a predictive-AI company that developed and introduced the first EHR embedded enterprise AI platform HealthVision™, to reduce the cognitive burden for clinicians and help leading health systems, ACOs, and payers improve population health, care delivery and economics. Prior to HDAI, Chamoun founded and led Aspect Medical Systems a Nasdaq traded company that pioneered and established the worldwide market for EEG based depth-of-anesthesia BIS™ monitoring technology, which has helped transform anesthesia delivery and outcomes. Chamoun earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and a MS in Computer Engineering from Boston University. He was Chairman of the Lown Institute (2009-2020), member emeritus of the Northeastern University Corporation, Vice President of the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Needham. Chamoun holds 14 patents for physiological monitoring and processing technology and is published widely in scientific journals.

Dr. Nate Wood is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and the inaugural Director of Culinary Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine and Irving and Alice Brown Teaching Kitchen at Yale New Haven Health. Board-certified in internal medicine, lifestyle medicine, and obesity medicine, Nate practices as a primary care physician, serves as a core faculty member in the Yale Primary Care residency program, and co-leads the weight management clinic at the New Haven Primary Care Consortium.

Before becoming a doctor, Nate answered to “chef.” He attended culinary school at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, where he received the Top Toque Award for graduating first in his class, and completed his externship at the two Michelin-starred restaurant The Modern in the Museum of Modern Art. 

Nate is particularly interested in media and education — using print, television, and other multimedia to engage both medical professionals and the general public in learning about the connection between diet and health. His on-camera work includes appearances on Good Morning America, NBC Nightly News, Inside Edition, The Dr. Oz Show, ABC News Live, Best Leftovers Ever! (Netflix), and numerous other local and national television shows. In print, he’s frequently quoted in venues such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Forbes, HuffPost, and National Geographic. He is currently working on his first book.

As both a physician and chef, Nate has dedicated his career to the field of culinary medicine, firmly believing that what we eat can be simultaneously healthy and delicious. His work combines his passions for medicine, food, teaching, and media to empower others to enjoy food in a healthy way.

Recognized by Business Insider in 2025 as “one of the top 100 early-stage investors,” Dr. Alucozai has experience translating exceptional science and technology into scalable commercial ventures. Alongside his experience as a founder and operator, he has actively invested in over 50 startups across North America and Europe. Milad began his career as a neuroscientist at the intersection of bioengineering, computational biology, and machine learning, where he commercialized platforms designed to deliver promising medicines to patients more efficiently and safely. 

Milad is a co-founder of Revalia Bio, which aims to establish a human-centric infrastructure for drug discovery and development. By using non-transplantable human organs donated for research, Revalia offers the scientific community unparalleled insights into patient biology, ultimately aiding in the creation of improved treatments and cures. 

Throughout his operating and investing career, Milad has played a crucial role in helping founders secure hundreds of millions in capital and facilitating over $1 billion in startup-pharma partnerships. His previous roles include supporting business development at Accenture, Absci, Bit Bio, Numerate, Mekonos, and AstraZeneca. Through Digitalis Commons, he was an Expert in Residence in support of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), where he aided the US government and ARPA-H mission, providing health solutions through $1.5 billion in non-dilutive investments.

He was a National Science Foundation Scholar and Macklin Fellow at Johns Hopkins Medicine. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Neuroscience from Purdue University’s Honors Program, earned a master’s in Immunology and Public Health as a George J. Mitchell Scholar, and holds a doctorate from the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. Additionally, he completed a visiting scholarship at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University.
