Othman Laraki

Osama Alsaleh is a global healthcare ecosystem builder and innovation leader driving transformative partnerships across the public and private sectors. As Head of Partnerships at Plug and Play Health, the world’s most active venture capital firm and leading health innovation platform, Osama has built enduring collaborations with tier 1 health systems, high-growth startups, Fortune 500 companies, governments, and top-tier venture capital firms.

With deep expertise in healthcare IT, health equity, and emerging technology, Osama previously led the creation of Oracle’s Health Equity team, advancing strategies to address social determinants of health and access to care. He has advised on U.S. federal initiatives including CMS programs, the White House COVID-19 Taskforce, and State Department projects, contributing to national health policy and regulatory frameworks.

His global perspective is shaped by work with the World Bank Group, World Health Organization, and cross-border innovation programs in the United States, Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. A multilingual collaborator fluent in English, Arabic, Mandarin, and Urdu, Osama studied at George Washington University and Harvard University.

Othman Laraki is Color Health’s CEO. He spent several years at Google, where he worked on performance infrastructure and client-side software, including the Google Chrome browser. After leaving Google, he co-founded MixerLabs, which was acquired by Twitter in 2009. At Twitter, Othman was the Vice President of Product, helping create the company&#39;s first revenue products and grow the user base from 50 to 200 million users. Othman holds degrees in computer science and management from Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a long-time investor and advisor to leading companies such as Pinterest, AngelList, Slack, Instacart and others. 

Neelam Brar is a nationally recognized healthcare entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of Total Life, the leading behavioral health platform built to serve older adults with compassionate, evidence-based therapy. Under her leadership, Total Life has become the partner of choice for health systems, insurers, doctors that are serious about improving access, delivering high-quality mental health care, and achieving better patient outcomes at lower cost.

A 2025 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Florida Finalist and one of Inc. Magazine’s 2024 Female Founders 500, Neelam has been celebrated for building one of the most trusted behavioral health brands in the country. Her company has delivered over 100,000+ therapy sessions, reduced ER visits and medication overuse, and helped VBC partners boost engagement and adherence through seamless, tech-enabled care.

Neelam started Total Life after a deeply personal experience navigating her own mother’s post-surgical mental health challenges. That mission-driven insight now powers a nationwide team of licensed therapists delivering Medicare-covered therapy via phone or video, making mental health support radically more accessible for aging populations.

A former Managing Director at Scotiabank’s Innovation Banking team, with global leadership experience at Morgan Stanley, Citibank, and Deloitte, Neelam blends financial rigor with health innovation. She holds degrees from Columbia Buiness School, London Business School, and the Richard Ivey School of Business.

As a thought leader in value-based care, mental health parity, and healthy aging, Neelam regularly advises provider networks and speaks at national conferences including HLTH, NAACOS, Senior Living 100 and the American Telemedicine Association.
