Terry Gilliland

Stacy Edgar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Venteur, a personalized health technology platform reimagining how employers pay for healthcare. Instead of offering a traditional group health plan, Venteur enables businesses to provide tax-free dollars that employees use to build a Personal Health Portfolio—choosing the insurance and care that best fit their unique needs. Legally, this is done through Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs), also known as Custom Health Option and Individual Care Expense (CHOICE) Arrangements. Today, Venteur supports thousands of businesses that employ hundreds of thousands of people across the country.

Stacy pivoted into healthcare after a 15-year career in foreign policy that spanned more than 25 countries. She has worked with organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and the United Nations Development Programme. Stacy also comes from a family of entrepreneurs who have experienced the pain points of the health insurance system firsthand. Motivated by this lived experience, she set out to build Venteur—a platform designed to better serve individual employees and their families by restoring agency, transparency, and trust to the benefits experience.


Dr. Terry Gilliland was named Geisinger’s new president and chief executive officer in 2024. He has extensive healthcare experience and has held senior executive roles spanning healthcare delivery and payer organizations. Most recently, Dr. Gilliland served as chief medical officer and chief science officer at Cogitativo, a healthcare-focused artificial intelligence and machine learning company. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president of Healthcare Quality and Affordability at Blue Shield of California and senior vice president and chief medical officer of Sentara Healthcare. Earlier in his career, Dr. Gilliland held various leadership roles at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group and the Colorado Permanente Medical Group within Kaiser Permanente, in addition to being a practicing general surgeon.
 
Dr. Gilliland received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stanford University, his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Master of Science in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.


Sonia Garcia is the co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of Amae Health. Her passion for transforming mental health care is deeply personal—after losing her father to suicide at 16 and navigating her brother’s battle with schizoaffective disorder, she became committed to driving change in the space. She began by launching a nonprofit in partnership with NAMI Texas, supporting young adults living with mental health conditions. Sonia holds an M.S. in Engineering from Stanford University's d.school, where she was a Knight-Hennessy Scholar. Her thesis focused on human-centered innovation in mental health. Prior to co-founding Amae Health, she played a pivotal role in building Brightline, the nation’s first digital pediatric behavioral health company. Recognized as one of Business Insider's 30 under 40 in Healthcare and named to Inc.’s Female Founders list for 2025, Sonia is shaping the future of behavioral health through her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.
