Pita is a molecular biologist by training with a deep passion for driving the translation of scientific discoveries into technologies that can improve outcomes and empower women to live healthier lives. As an entrepreneur-scientist, her biotech start up experience spans across research, development and commercialization of novel diagnostics and digital health tools. Prior to starting Evvy, Pita was a founding team member at Athelas where she lead the development of AI-based devices to monitor key biomarkers of inflammation for chronically ill patients.
