Laura Modi

Ricky Bloomfield, MD, is Oura’s Chief Medical Officer, where he sets the vision for Oura’s global healthcare programs and partnerships, guides the company through ever-changing healthcare regulations and leads the company’s expansion in healthcare solutions. He also enables cross-functional collaboration across the organization to drive the direction of new hardware and software features to scale healthcare ambitions.

Dr. Bloomfield brings expertise in medicine, digital health, clinical informatics, and navigating the U.S. healthcare system. He joins Oura from Apple, where he served as Clinical and Health Informatics Lead. During his tenure, Dr. Bloomfield led the launch of several features, including Apple’s Health Records on iPhone and iPad.

Before joining Apple, Dr. Bloomfield was the director of Mobile Technology Strategy at Duke University Health System, where he explored the world of clinical informatics, the intersection of technology and healthcare. There, he discovered a problem worth solving: health data interoperability. To address this, he led a team to implement the first API on an Epic-based electronic health record (EHR) that used the emerging FHIR standard, with the goal of helping patients, clinicians, and researchers easily access health-record data. At Duke, he also collaborated on the largest app-based autism research study of its kind and worked as a hospitalist in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Laura Modi is the Founder and CEO of Bobbie, the only mom-founded and led pediatric nutrition company and the third-largest fully integrated infant formula manufacturer in the U.S. As a mother of four, Modi is on a mission to fundamentally reform the infant formula industry—setting higher nutritional standards, increasing transparency, and driving accountability in a historically opaque and under-regulated space.

In the wake of the 2022 infant formula crisis, Modi refused to accept the status quo. She launched Bobbie for Change, the company’s social good and advocacy arm, to champion the issues that matter most to modern parents—including better nutritional standards by the FDA, paid parental leave, and the maternal health crisis. Under her leadership, Bobbie has become a platform for systemic change, pushing the industry toward more rigorous, science-backed, and parent-centric standards.

Modi has spent the last two years working alongside lawmakers to co-create and introduce the 'Infant Formula Made in America Act', a landmark piece of legislation aimed at ensuring greater domestic resilience, safety, and access to infant nutrition. She is simultaneously growing Bobbie and reshaping an industry to make sure a nationwide shortage never happens again.

To date, Bobbie has nourished over 500,000 American babies. Modi has been recognized as a TIME Woman of the Year and a CNBC Changemaker, hailed as a disruptive force in a $90 billion global industry that has long prioritized profits over parents.

Before founding Bobbie, Modi held executive roles at Airbnb and Google Finance. Originally from Westport, Ireland, she now lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and four children—Mary, Colin, Owen, and Etta.

Amy Compton-Phillips, MD, is the executive vice president and chief medical officer at CVS Health®. She leads the company’s clinical strategy and medical affairs organization, with a focus on delivering high-quality, accessible care and improving health outcomes across the CVS Health enterprise and its assets.
Amy has more than 30 years of clinical and operational experience, with a track record of driving transformation, including leadership roles at major health systems and in performance improvement consulting. Most recently, she served as president and chief physician executive at Press Ganey, where she guided provider organizations and health plans through system-wide clinical transformation.

Prior to Press Ganey, Amy served as president of clinical care at Providence, a national healthcare system, overseeing clinical operations across 51 hospitals and more than 1,000 clinics. Earlier in her career, she spent over two decades at Kaiser Permanente, where she held several leadership positions, including serving as chief quality officer.

Amy is a board-certified internist who has previously served on the boards of national health organizations including HIMSS and WellCare, and currently serves on the board of the Institute for Systems Biology. She served as a medical analyst for CNN, where she communicated critical public health guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and a medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
