HLTH Europe 2027: Agenda themes

Six themes. Four days. One very full agenda. Here’s where HLTH Europe 2027 is putting its focus, and where the biggest conversations in European healthcare will happen in Amsterdam next June.

AI & emerging tech

The pilots are done. Now it's about scale. We're looking at where AI is actually delivering in health systems, from ambient documentation to agentic workflows, and what it takes to move from proof of concept to everyday practice. Expect real deployments, honest lessons, and a few hard questions about trust, regulation, and ROI.

Data management, interoperability & cybersecurity

Healthcare runs on data. Too often, that data doesn't talk to itself. With the European Health Data Space moving from policy to reality, this track gets practical: shared standards, secure exchange, and what interoperability looks like when it finally works for clinicians and patients alike.

Europe's pharma advantage

Europe has the science, the talent, and some of the world's biggest pharma players. So how does it stay ahead? This theme covers faster clinical trials, smarter access models, and the partnerships between pharma and healthtech that are changing how medicines reach patients.

Startups, founders & investors

Where's the money going, and who's getting it? We're bringing founders and investors into the same room to talk candidly about funding, scaling across fragmented European markets, and what it really takes to win a health system as a customer.

Longevity medicine

Living longer is one thing. Living better for longer is the goal. Longevity is moving from wellness trend to serious medicine, and we're exploring the science, the business models, and the ethics of adding healthy years to life.

Precision medicine, diagnostics & prevention

The best outcomes start with catching disease earlier. Europe is sequencing genomes at population scale and building on national screening programmes, but turning that data into everyday care is the real test. This track looks at how genomics, diagnostics and risk-based screening move from the lab into the clinic, and what it takes for health systems to fund prevention. Expect practical lessons on regulation, access and getting the right test to the right patient, sooner.

Where’s women’s health?

You might notice there’s no standalone women’s health theme this year. That’s intentional. Women’s health isn’t a niche, and it shouldn’t be treated like one. So instead of giving it its own box, we’re weaving it through every theme on the agenda, from AI and data to pharma, investment, specialty care, and longevity. Expect it everywhere.
