RevSpring, a Frazier Healthcare portfolio company, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Kyruus Health, creating a comprehensive platform that connects care access with financial resolution. The transaction, expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, will integrate Kyruus Health's provider data, search, and scheduling capabilities with RevSpring's patient engagement and payment solutions to deliver a unified healthcare experience.
The acquisition addresses a fundamental challenge in healthcare delivery, where patients often navigate fragmented systems for finding providers, scheduling appointments, and managing financial obligations. By combining these functions into a single platform, the merged entity aims to eliminate silos that complicate the patient experience and create operational inefficiencies for healthcare organizations.
Kyruus Health brings substantial market reach to the combination, connecting over 500,000 providers across 1,400 hospitals and 550 medical groups, while serving members across 100 health plan brands. This extensive network provides the foundation for accurate provider directories and comprehensive care access solutions that will be enhanced by RevSpring's patient intelligence capabilities.
"By pairing Kyruus Health's member and provider insights with RevSpring's advanced patient intelligence, we're closing the gap between access and affordability," said Scott MacKenzie, chief executive officer of RevSpring. "People don't experience healthcare in silos, and they don't think of themselves as a member versus a patient. Together we'll bring clarity and guidance to every touchpoint, so individuals find the right care, stay engaged, and understand what they owe."
The strategic rationale centers on creating a seamless care journey that personalizes every interaction from initial provider search through final payment. RevSpring's patient intelligence encompasses behavioral preferences, communication patterns, affordability assessments, and payment history, which will be combined with Kyruus Health's provider data and scheduling capabilities to deliver contextually relevant experiences.
RevSpring's existing scale provides significant infrastructure for the expanded platform. The company currently facilitates over 700 million digital communications annually across email, SMS, and voice channels, while processing more than 1 billion printed communications. Its payment processing capabilities handle over 60 million transactions annually, collecting more than $14 billion in patient payments.
"Our mission has always been to connect people to the right care," noted Graham Gardner, MD, founder and chief executive officer of Kyruus Health. "Uniting with RevSpring enables us to enrich that mission by integrating with a financial experience that brings clarity and simplicity to the entire care journey."
