Expanding Our Impact: New Digital Services Tackle the Growing Mental Health Crisis
It’s no secret that the U.S. is facing a national mental health crisis, which has only been exacerbated in recent years. Prior to 2020, one in five adults suffered from a mental health problem and fewer than half received help. In the last two years that number has grown exponentially, increasing by over 300%.
Dale Cook, Co-Founder and CEO at Learn to Live (L2L), dared to imagine a new delivery model that would close this gap and make high-quality mental health services easily accessible for the 100+ million American who could benefit from support for common mental health problems like anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, and more. L2L combines on-demand, self-directed digital programs with live clinician coaching and additional support services to make the clinically proven strategies of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy available, at no cost, to more than 33 million Americans. By partnering with health plans, employers, universities, and other organizations committed to providing mental health support, L2L is addressing the care gap at scale and removing the cost barrier to help more people learn to live better lives.
Today, Learn to Live continues to expand their capabilities with two (2) new digital mental health programs for Panic and Resilience, a new comprehensive clinical assessment tool, Spanish-language services, and gamification. Join Dale as he shares insights into how L2L’s new developments are expanding their impact and tackling the mental health crisis at scale.
