In recent years, we have seen an increase in the use of digital measurement technologies in clinical trials. These technologies have the potential to become integral to clinical trials, but there is still a long way to go. While we have seen many cross-industry initiatives that try to move the industry forward, incorporating digital measurement technologies in clinical trials is still a huge challenge. Join us in this meeting where we will discuss the following: 

  • How can we get digital measurement technologies to the same standard as traditional means and accepted by regulators?  
  • Once the sponsor decides the digital measure they want to use in their trial, how do they select the best technology? What are the criteria to select the right solution? 
  • What are the operational challenges? What are pharma’s processes and requirements to include a digital measurement solution in a clinical trial?   
  • Due to the technology’s young age, most stakeholders involved in a clinical trial (such as the sponsor, the principal investigator or the patient) may not have a full understanding of its potential and how to use them properly in a clinical trial . How can we educate the multiple stakeholders about it? How do we seamlessly integrate these technologies into the clinical trial protocol? 
  • Real examples. Where have we seen prior success and what are the learnings?
