b.well, Noom, Humana, and Welldoc Advance Interoperability Through CMS Health Technology Ecosystem Partnerships

b.well Connected Health has announced a series of partnerships with Noom, Humana, and Welldoc as part of their collective participation in the CMS Health Technology Ecosystem, an initiative focused on improving interoperability and patient access to health data.

The collaborations are designed to enable individuals to aggregate and access their medical records digitally across providers, health plans, pharmacies, and digital health applications. By leveraging b.well’s national health data network, each partner is expanding its ability to deliver more coordinated and personalized care experiences.

Humana’s integration will allow members to connect their health data across multiple sources while also enabling the insurer to access real-time information for claims processing. This capability is expected to streamline administrative workflows and improve responsiveness to data requests from providers and other health plans.

Welldoc, a company focused on cardiometabolic health through AI-enabled applications, will gain access to patient-authorized data via the b.well platform. In turn, users of Welldoc’s solutions will be able to view their aggregated health information within the b.well ecosystem, supporting more informed disease management.

The partnership with Noom introduces Noom Health Record Connect, a new feature aimed at Medicare beneficiaries. This integration allows users to link their medical records directly to the Noom platform, enabling more tailored interventions based on diagnoses, medications, and lab results. “One of the biggest barriers to truly personalized healthcare is data silos – patient health records aren't easily shared between providers, health systems and digital platforms,” said Geoff Cook, CEO of Noom. “With this integration, we're changing that. A Medicare member can now connect their health records to Noom in minutes. We're also making our flagship Noom Weight program completely free for the first 30 days for all Medicare members who are new to Noom.”

Beyond individual partnerships, the initiative reflects a broader trend toward real-time collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem. According to b.well CEO Kristen Valdes, organizations participating in the CMS Interoperability Framework are actively communicating through shared digital channels to address technical and operational challenges more efficiently, including patient matching and data exchange standards.
