N-Power Medicine has closed a $32 million Series B financing round to expand its community oncology clinical research network and increase adoption of its Prospective External Control Arms (ProECA) technology.
The company embeds research operations into routine community oncology workflows, enabling standard-of-care patients to contribute prospective clinical evidence while continuing their usual care. The new capital will support expansion of this research infrastructure and broader use of ProECA by biopharmaceutical companies.
ProECA is designed to generate trial-grade, standalone prospective external control arms from patients receiving routine cancer care. Rather than relying on retrospective chart reviews, the platform prospectively aligns data collection with active clinical trial protocols. This includes protocol-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, next-generation sequencing, standardized imaging intervals and biosample collection schedules.
The approach is intended to reduce reliance on traditional randomized control groups by allowing sponsors to conduct smaller single-arm or augmented studies. N-Power Medicine says the model can support Phase 2 development decisions and Phase 4 post-marketing studies while reducing the number of control subjects required for enrollment.
The company’s initial ProECA program focuses on non-small cell lung cancer and is active at more than 40 clinical sites across multiple community health systems. Biopharma sponsors are currently using the program for early-phase and Phase 4 studies. N-Power Medicine plans to extend the model into colorectal and prostate cancer later in 2026.

The financing provides N-Power Medicine with additional resources to scale its community research footprint as drug developers explore external control approaches that can supplement conventional trial designs. The expansion also reflects efforts to make clinical research available through community oncology settings, where many cancer patients receive routine treatment.
