New FDA Clearance strengthens partnership between Philips and Masimo

Philips and Masimo have received FDA clearance to integrate Masimo's advanced monitoring technology into Philips' high-acuity patient monitors. 

This collaboration enables the use of SedLine brain function monitoring, Regional Oximetry, and CO2 measurements in Philips' IntelliVue MX750 and MX850 monitors. By incorporating these capabilities, clinicians can access real-time data on blood saturation in the brain, anaesthetic sedation, and patient respiratory performance, all from a single monitor. 

The integration of Masimo's measurements into Philips' monitors provides a more comprehensive view of the patient and allows for informed decision-making without the need for additional monitoring equipment. 

This partnership aims to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs by delivering robust and integrated monitoring solutions.
