Most patients with long term conditions are performing some form of self-care as opposed to receiving professional care in hospitals. Injectable treatments have become increasingly common in the self-management of a wide range of medical conditions. However, these treatments can be complex and challenging for patients to manage, with potential risks of adverse events and suboptimal treatment outcomes. Digital self-care tools offer a promising solution to these challenges, by providing patients with the means to monitor and manage their treatments more effectively.
In this third and final roundtable discussion on the topic, HLTH Community and Ypsomed invite pharmaceutical executives to join the discussion to agree on the necessary components of a digital self-care program that patients should have access to. As a collective we’ll explore what 'good' looks like for digital health programs, and the internal stakeholder challenges that can affect program development, and market accessibility issues. We’ll also address questions around usability and effectiveness for these digital solutions. The outcome of this final roundtable discussion is a framework for digital self-care that not only meets patients' needs but also enhances their overall healthcare experience.
Please note: This meeting is taking place at HLTH USA, Las Vegas and is the final meeting in a three-part series of insights roundtables that HLTH Community is hosting in collaboration with Ypsomed. Insights from this roundtable will feed into a white paper that HLTH Community and Ypsomed will publish later this year.
