About this Session:

England’s National Health Service (NHS) provides care for 56 million people with a 2021-22 budget of approximately $250 billion. System-wide initiatives are in place to tackle health disparities, reach ‘net zero’ by 2040 and roll out whole genome sequencing as standard of care for rare diseases. These are lofty goals, but the NHS has enlisted the help of strategic partners to get it done. They have built unique collaborations with industry leaders like Grail to detect cancer earlier and Novartis to bring a new cholesterol treatment to 300,000 patients. Join the session to learn more about the UK’s vision for the future and plans to leverage innovations to improve care at scale.
