In a survey of 400 healthcare IT and security leaders, 97% say frontier AI — capable of finding vulnerabilities and executing multi-step intrusions faster than defenders can respond — will require real change to how they recover. Yet only 2% believe their current plan is ready. Just as concerning, only 16% have a formally documented and tested Minimum Viable Entity (MVE): the plan for keeping critical patient care running while broader recovery continues.
