About this Session:

The U.S. spends only 5-7% of healthcare dollars on primary care, which is even lower when it comes to seniors, our most vulnerable and chronically ill population. This underinvestment in senior-focused primary care has physicians leaving the industry at the same time that baby boomers are aging into the senior population and demand for primary care is growing. There is a clear need for new models of care that reduce PCP caseloads and administrative work while addressing the complex health and social needs of older patients, particularly those living in underserved communities. Hear a health plan leader?s clear vision for the future of senior-focused primary care through a care team-driven, value-based approach.
