Depending on which dictionary you open (ahem, search online) disruption can either mean a disturbance or a radical change. Clearly a difference in connotation. Let?s be positive and consider industry disruption as a radical change in processes fueled by innovation. Sounds lovely, but in reality, healthcare is not like other industries. It's fragmented, riddled with inefficiencies, and terribly hard to ?disturb.? Big tech organizations know this well, which is why all the predictions over the last 5 years have not necessarily come true. We?re giving big tech the floor to share their definition of disruption and further, if healthcare is even disrupt-able.
