Using Cyber to Influence the Trust Agenda and accelerate Healthcare Transformation

About this Session:

A growing emphasis on patient-centric care has sped up digital transformation and technology investments in the healthcare industry. As organizations innovate to create better health outcomes, there is a growing need to strengthen their security posture to defend against new cyber threats and build customer trust. Already the number one risk for most healthcare organizations, the opportunities presented by the rapid growth of technology such as generative AI, machine learning and wearables also brings a new and fast-moving dimension to cyber risk in 2024.  Board members, CFOs and CISOs play a key role in shaping a broader dialogue on cyber resilience, helping organizations secure data, maintaining compliance, and protecting the business.  As healthcare organizations continue to embrace the power of technology advancements to positively influence patient outcomes, it is imperative that they do this with appropriate safeguards in place. There is a heightened sense of targeted attacks as well as increasing threat landscape around cloud, AI, remote work, transient workforce, alternate medical approaches and connected devices that necessitates a dedicated focus on cyber capabilities in these organizations.
