Climate change is disrupting healthcare at every level, driving surges in hospitalizations, straining supply chains, and exacerbating health inequities. With extreme weather events becoming more frequent and severe, healthcare systems must shift from reactive crisis response to proactive, tech-enabled resilience strategies. This session explores building the foundational infrastructure for tech-enabled and AI-driven climate-resilient solutions, from integrating environmental and health information within EHRs to personalized chatbots guiding care through extreme weather events. Resilience goes beyond technology—it requires financial commitment. As public funding for climate health initiatives shrinks, the private sector, from venture capital to healthcare organizations, must invest in scalable, climate-intelligent healthcare solutions. This session will highlight the continued demand for climate-driven investments, which innovations are making an impact, and how leaders can future-proof healthcare in an era of climate instability.
