There are many complexities around measuring quality across digital health solutions. As a result, the industry has turned to both established evaluation standards and newer, innovative metrics. As digital health tools continue to proliferate, it is getting more difficult to accurately assess their effectiveness, safety, and usability in a way that aligns with the needs of patients, providers, and payers. Let's get into the strengths and limitations of current evaluation frameworks, where newer metrics can fill gaps, and if one standardized approach may be in our future.
