Now in its 3rd season, the Techquity for Health Awards spotlight organizations defining excellence in digital health through innovation of new tools, tech-enabled programs and data solutions designed to foster equitable healthcare access and outcomes.
Techquity is the intentional design, development, and distribution of technology to improve access and outcomes for underserved patients. It’s an approach to innovation that can help solve the global digital divide and contribute to more effective, efficient healthcare.
Hosted by HLTH Foundation and guided by a cross-sector advisory committee, the Techquity for Health Awards celebrate innovation in digital health equity, generate insights and develop evidence around innovation practices that deliver ROI: better outcomes for underserved communities and financial returns for innovators, implementers and insurers. The awards give visibility to innovative approaches, measurable outcomes and the people turning the tide for equitable and sustainable healthcare.
Finalists in the 3rd annual awards are tackling some of the hardest problems in healthcare, including clinician burnout in Cameroon, rural healthcare, suicide prevention for indigenous veterans, gaps in specialty care access, and more. Their solutions are proving what’s possible when technology is designed to close gaps.
