The Netherlands is quickly becoming the epicentre of global health innovation, and this June, HLTH Europe will further solidify that reputation. In an exciting collaboration, HLTH and key Dutch health ecosystem partners are launching a €500,000 funding initiative to support Dutch innovators at HLTH Europe in Amsterdam.
Empowering Dutch Health Innovators
This significant investment is made by Dutch partners including the City of Amsterdam, Health~ Holland, InnovationQuarter, LIOF, the RAI, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Task Force Health Care and, as well as HLTH Inc. The funding will help local innovators capture global opportunities at HLTH Europe in multiple ways.
Dutch Innovator Village
Featuring a selection of startup booths and healthtech company kiosks, the Dutch Innovator Village will showcase some of the brightest, boldest and most aspirational companies from across the healthtech and life sciences innovation ecosystems in the Netherlands. Along with a central meeting area, the village will form a vibrant hub during HLTH Europe.
"It’s an honour to have HLTH, the world’s leading event for health innovation, here in Amsterdam," said Alderman Scholtes, a key government leader from Amsterdam. "The Dutch Innovator Village presents a fantastic opportunity for companies in the health and life sciences space to meet global partners, customers, and government organisations."
A Launchpad for Dutch Startups and Scale-ups
HLTH Europe is built on the foundation of meaningful connections and local impact. In 2024, HLTH attracted over 3,500 innovators from 65+ countries to Amsterdam for the inaugural European event. “HLTH’s purpose is to catalyse global health innovation through unrivalled collaboration”, said Jonathan Weiner, Founder and CEO of HLTH. “We’re excited to work with our Dutch partners to build impact and scale in the Netherlands and beyond.”
"The Dutch Innovator Village will further strengthen the Netherlands’ position as a knowledge-based and market-driven economy while also improving the health and care of all citizens,” said Carmen van Vilsteren, Chair of the Top Sector Life Sciences at Health Holland. “The collaboration with HLTH Europe provides a unique platform for Dutch innovators to showcase their groundbreaking solutions, fostering international partnerships that drive meaningful advancements in global healthcare.”
