The conversation around aging is changing fast.
What was once framed primarily as a challenge is now being reimagined as one of the most dynamic opportunities in healthcare. At the center of that shift is AgeTech, a rapidly growing ecosystem of companies, technologies, and ideas focused on helping people live longer, healthier, and more connected lives.
Now, HLTH and The AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP are joining forces in a new collaboration designed to bring that future into sharper focus and accelerate it.

A New Chapter for AgeTech
This collaboration brings together two powerful forces: AARP’s deep expertise in longevity and its expansive community reach, alongside HLTH’s role as a global platform for healthcare innovation. The goal is simple but ambitious. Create a sustained, high-impact platform for the startups and leaders redefining what it means to age in the 21st century.
The AgeTech Collaborative already includes nearly 700 companies spanning industries from healthcare and caregiving to fintech and social connection. Together with HLTH, that ecosystem will gain even greater visibility, access, and opportunity to scale.
Unlocking the full potential of the $96 trillion global AgeTech economy will not happen in silos. It will require collaboration across sectors and a stage big enough to bring those players together.
From Innovation to Impact
At HLTH 2026, that vision will come to life. The AgeTech Collaborative will showcase a curated group of pioneering startups (XX companies to be announced), offering attendees a tangible look at how innovation is reshaping aging across key areas like:
Health monitoring and proactive care
Caregiving support and infrastructure
Financial wellness and longevity planning
Social connection and community building
More than just a showcase, the experience will highlight what happens when promising solutions are paired with the right ecosystem, including mentorship, validation, and access to capital.
Each featured company arrives not just with an idea, but with the backing of a network designed to help it succeed. At HLTH, those companies will be introduced to the investors, health systems, and partners who can help take them further.
Building a Long-Term Platform for Longevity
We consider this the start of a longer collaboration in the future.
Over the course of this collaboration, HLTH and the AgeTech Collaborative will look to work together to consistently spotlight and support the entrepreneurs building in this space, embedding AgeTech into the core of the HLTH experience. That sustained visibility matters. While innovation in aging is accelerating, it still needs stronger pathways to scale.
As Andy Miller, Senior Vice President, Innovation & Product Development, AARP, puts it:
“Technology has the power to transform aging not just by adding years to life, but by adding life to years. This collaboration creates a platform for the innovations that can truly make that a reality.”
And from HLTH’s perspective, the opportunity is just as clear.
“Longevity is one of the most consequential and exciting frontiers in healthcare today,” says Rich Scarfo, President of HLTH. “By bringing AgeTech to the center of the conversation, we’re helping ensure these companies have the connections and capital they need to drive real change.”
What to Expect at HLTH USA 2026
Attendees at HLTH 2026 (November 15-18 at the Venetian Las Vegas) can expect an immersive AgeTech presence on the show floor, designed not just to showcase innovation, but to spark new partnerships and ideas. The AgeTech Collaborative pavilion will serve as a hub for discovery, conversation, and connection, featuring founders, investors, and industry leaders working at the forefront of longevity innovation.
As healthcare continues to evolve, one thing is becoming increasingly clear. The future of aging is not something to react to. It is something we are actively building.
With the right collaboration, that future might arrive sooner than we think.
