AI-enhanced smart mattress adjusts sleep setup and warns of health issues

The DeRUCCI T11 Pro Smart Mattress, recently honoured with an Innovation Award at CES 2024, integrates a mattress, sleep tracker, and AI assistant to offer a comprehensive sleep experience. Notably, the mattress claims to possess diagnosing capabilities, analysing various factors such as sleep habits, geographical location, age, and data from connected devices to generate AI warnings about potential chronic health issues. 

Despite scepticism about the mattress's diagnostic precision beyond sleep-related disorders, it features 23 AI sensors that monitor sleep in real-time, adjusting the bed using airbags and support materials. The AI provides users with a detailed sleep report and actionable advice for improving sleep quality.

Beyond its monitoring capabilities, the DeRUCCI T11 can sync with other IoT smart home devices, allowing users to control lighting, room temperature, and even change the aroma in the bedroom. However, the high price tag of $8,250 and the limited release in China until at least July 2024 may pose barriers for potential users.
