Create Health Ventures Launches $21M Fund for Digital Health Startups

Create Health Ventures has officially launched, closing its first fund with $21 million aimed at investing in early-stage digital health startups. The venture capital firm will focus on B2B platforms designed to enhance patient engagement and improve the patient care journey, particularly in areas like clinical trial recruitment and retention, with a specific emphasis on founders with healthcare industry experience.

Co-founder and managing partner Emma Cartmell highlighted that payers, providers, and pharmaceutical companies are seeking solutions to elevate the patient experience and improve health outcomes, especially for those facing health disparities. The firm believes that founders with deep healthcare experience are best positioned to meet these challenges through innovative technology.

Create Health Ventures joins other venture firms launched recently, such as Amboy Street Ventures and 62 Ventures, both of which have raised significant funds to invest in various aspects of health and wellness. These firms reflect a growing interest in funding digital health innovations that can positively impact the healthcare industry.
