Dawn Health and Novartis Launch Digital Support App for Breast Cancer Patients

Novartis, in collaboration with Dawn Health, has unveiled Cora BC, a digital tool designed to assist individuals managing breast cancer throughout their treatment journey.

The app features a suite of tools, including health tracking, personalized content, and medication reminders, to help patients better manage their condition.

Cora BC enables users to complete regular health check-ins and track their progress through intuitive visual graphs. According to Dawn Health, the app is designed to help patients develop habits and routines essential for maintaining long-term treatment adherence.

Additionally, the app provides educational resources, actionable advice, and a diary function to support patients in preparing for healthcare consultations.

Initially set to launch in Germany, Cora BC will soon expand to the UK, Australia, Canada, and other markets.

Dawn Health CEO Alexander Mandix Hansen emphasized the app’s impact, stating:

“Cora BC is more than just a tool—it represents a step toward improved care. By partnering with Novartis, we’re ensuring that breast cancer patients have access to the resources and support they need to feel seen, heard, and empowered in achieving the best possible outcomes. This app reflects our shared commitment to innovation and patient-centric care.”

Cora BC builds upon Novartis and Dawn Health’s previous collaborations, including the development of Ekiva MS for multiple sclerosis and Ekiva PNH for paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria. The companies introduced Ekiva PNH in April last year.

Dawn Health specializes in software as a medical device (SaMD) and digital therapeutics (DTx), working alongside pharmaceutical companies to develop and implement digital tools that enhance patient care and the management of chronic conditions.
