DeepScribe and AWS partner to advance AI-powered medical documentation

DeepScribe, a trailblazer in AI-powered medical documentation, has announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) with the goal of expediting the secure scalability of large language models (LLMs) in the healthcare sector.

This strategic partnership involves integrating AWS HealthScribe into DeepScribe's platform, contributing to the advancement of more sophisticated AI-assisted clinical documentation solutions.

DeepScribe utilizes an extensive dataset of healthcare records to train its purpose-built AI models, resulting in the creation of highly accurate and customizable notes tailored for clinical settings. The incorporation of AWS HealthScribe, a HIPAA-eligible service, is set to boost the performance of DeepScribe's cutting-edge HealAI model, particularly in crucial areas of clinical documentation accuracy.

Akilesh Bapu, CEO of DeepScribe, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with AWS to alleviate the documentation burden for a significantly larger number of providers and enhance medical reasoning capabilities. The combination of AWS generative AI services and our dataset will enable us to push the boundaries of AI in care delivery.”
