Digital gastrointestinal (GI) health company, Oshi Health, announced it has raised $30 million in Series B funding. The funding was led by Koch Disruptive Technologies, as well as existing investors, Bessemer Venture Partners, Flare Capital Partners, Frist Cressey Ventures, CVS Health Ventures and Takeda Digital Ventures.
Oshi Health is a virtual specialist care company, providing patients with GI issues access to virtual providers including, a gastroenterologist, behavioural health clinician, dietitian and health coach. The company offers support for conditions such as Crohn’s Disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and ulcerative colitis. The company also provides users with a symptom tracking tool and instant messaging services.
Currently, Oshi Health is available to over 20 million people as a preferred in-network virtual gastroenterology clinic for national and regional insurers, as well as their employer customers. Recently, Aetna announced a value-based partnership with Oshi Health allowing commercial members in certain U.S states with select Aetna plans to access Oshi as an in-network provider. This follows Oshi Health's previously announced partnerships with Firefly Health and Solera Health in 2022.
In 2021, Oshi Health raised $23 million in Series A funding. The company will use the additional funding to scale its clinical team in the U.S. and expand on relationships with health plans, employers, provider groups, and channel partners.
