Headspace and Virgin Pulse have expanded their partnership, providing Virgin's members with full access to Headspace's mental health services through Virgin Pulse's AI-enabled platform, Homebase for Health.
The integration will provide Virgin's employer, health plan and health system members access to Headspace's psychiatry, therapy, clinical care, self-guided care, behavioural health coaching and employee assistance program services.
This extended offering builds upon the existing partnership where Headspace was available to Virgin Pulse clients through its partner ecosystem. Headspace's services will also be made available to Virgin Pulse's approximately 2,000 global employees.
Virgin Pulse previously expanded its Homebase for Health platform to include AI-enabled personalised workforce wellbeing tools. These tools generate insights, leverage social determinants of health data, and utilise digital twin technology to enhance personalised healthcare experiences.
However, the use of digital twin technology raises concerns about privacy and socio-ethical risks, despite its potential benefits in real-time monitoring, precise disease treatment, and dynamic analysis.
