Health2Sync, HPB, and Abbott Launch DigiCoach for Diabetes and Obesity

Taiwan-based Health2Sync, a leading digital health company, has teamed up with Singapore's Health Promotion Board (HPB) and Abbott to launch DigiCoach, an automated programme leveraging Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM) to empower individuals with prediabetes or high Body Mass Index (BMI). The initiative aims to help participants manage their health and delay or prevent diabetes through technology and personalized coaching.

Powered by Abbott’s CGM technology, DigiCoach integrates real-time glucose monitoring with the Health2Sync mobile app, offering visual insights into glucose patterns and their links to meals or activities. Fitbit devices are also included to track exercise, enhancing the programme’s comprehensive approach.

Using this data, the programme provides personalized feedback and coaching content, encouraging users to reflect on effective strategies for glucose management and adopt healthier lifestyle habits.

Recruitment began in July 2024, with the pilot running for ten months. This public-private collaboration highlights innovative solutions to public health challenges, and Health2Sync plans to expand such partnerships globally to enhance community well-being.
