Linus Health Launches AI Remote Assessment for Cognitive Impairment

Linus Health has launched Anywhere for Health Systems™, an FDA-listed, AI-enhanced cognitive assessment designed to address the widespread issue of undetected mild cognitive impairment (MCI), a key precursor to dementia. With 92% of MCI cases going unnoticed, traditional detection methods relying on in-person screenings and lengthy neuropsychological evaluations often place a significant burden on clinicians. This new solution empowers health systems to conduct accurate and efficient cognitive evaluations remotely, significantly improving early detection rates and streamlining patient care.

Anywhere for Health Systems™ provides a convenient and rapid assessment that patients or their care partners can complete from home using a laptop, tablet, or phone at their primary care provider’s request. As an FDA Class II medical device, it employs a peer-reviewed battery of tests to assess four key cognitive domains, enhancing the ability to detect and manage cognitive decline early. The solution integrates seamlessly with Linus Health’s broader suite of cognitive health tools, including Radar and other digital cognitive assessments with personalized action plans.

By collaborating with health systems to tailor workflows and optimize patient and provider experiences, Linus Health ensures that its technology meets the needs of modern healthcare environments. John Showalter, MD, MSIS, chief strategy and product officer at Linus Health, emphasized its impact, stating that this self-administered test works alongside in-clinic cognitive assessments to provide additional insights, helping providers refine referrals, rule out unimpaired patients, and enable more personalized, effective care.
