NeuroFlow acquires Owl to extend behavioral health offerings

Pennsylvania-based behavioral health company NeuroFlow has acquired Owl, another digital health company specializing in behavioral care. This acquisition aims to enhance NeuroFlow's measurement-based services, helping providers identify and manage behavioral health needs more effectively.

NeuroFlow's platform offers a range of tools, including patient monitoring, AI-powered clinical decision support, educational content, wellbeing screenings, and mood and sleep logs. Owl's platform enables patients to report symptoms before appointments, helping providers save time, assess treatment effectiveness, and prepare better for patient care.

Eric Meier, CEO of Owl and now President of Behavioral Health Markets at NeuroFlow, stated that the merger will provide a comprehensive solution for identifying and treating behavioral health needs, ultimately improving health outcomes across the healthcare spectrum.

This acquisition follows NeuroFlow's previous purchase of Capital Solution Design, a company providing measurement-based care for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. NeuroFlow has also secured significant funding, including $7.5 million in Series A, $20 million in Series B, and $25 million in 2022. It has partnered with various healthcare systems to expand collaborative care models, including Emory Healthcare and Atlantic Health System. Owl recently partnered with Colorado Access to integrate its services into Medicaid plans.
