Artificial intelligence (AI) and technology-enabled behavioural health company, Ontrak Health, will begin to use MyndYou’s MyEleanor, an AI-powered conversational platform to engage with members, triage needs, and address issues related to behavioural, medical, or social needs.
MyEleanor is an AI-powered virtual care assistant, which engages at-risk patients and members through phone conversations. MyEleanor was built using thousands of hours of conversations between patients, nurses and occupational therapists. Utilising machine learning models, MyEleanor can communicate with patients over the phone to discuss the patients health condition, and recognise and analyse speech patterns.
The announcement follows a successful pilot program between Ontrak and MyEleanor, in which MyEleanor was used to call members to engage in conversations, remind them of appointments, check their health and assess their risk. As a result of these interventions, 38% of members re-engaged with Ontrak’s behavioural health coaching service.
“At a time when health care providers of all types are stretched too thin, MyEleanor uses conversational AI to extend the care team so they can check in on patients and spot problems that need attention,” said Ruth Poliakine, CEO and co-founder of MyndYou. “This is critical for success in a value-based world, and we are excited to deepen our partnership with Ontrak.”
