A partnership between Re:Cognition Health and MYndspan is helping to improve access to data-driven insights into brain health.
The partnership can help assess and measure brain health in under an hour, for patients across London. The service is powered by a non-invasive scanning technology called magnetoencephalography (MEG), which can measure electrical signals between neurons to create a detailed map of brain activity.
The service also uses app-based games to test cognitive function.
Within 24 hours of the appointment, patients will receive a personalised report on their brain health which can help them make informed, data-led decisions about their lifestyles, such as sleep habits, exercise and diet.
In addition, patients with cognitive health conditions, such as autism, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s, will be able to access detailed data about their brain health and whether it is improving in response to treatment.
Other companies in the digital health space have also set out to help improve support for people with neurological and cognitive health conditions. Back in June 2022, Brain in Hand won an NHS grant which will go towards enhancing the way people with autism are engaged in support services.
