Resilience Healthcare adopts Altera's Paragon EHR and Ventus solutions

Altera Digital Health, a global leader in health IT, has announced a significant seven-year contract with Resilience Healthcare, a prominent health system serving the Chicago metropolitan region. Under this agreement, Resilience Healthcare will leverage Altera's Paragon electronic health record (EHR) platform tailored for community hospitals. Additionally, the health system will integrate Altera's Ventus Contract Management, Ventus Compliance Advisor, and Ventus Intelligent Coding solutions to enhance revenue optimisation and mitigate compliance risks.

Resilience Healthcare, known for its commitment to high-quality care and community well-being, oversees West Suburban Medical Center and Weiss Memorial Hospital, both safety-net facilities, along with a satellite location in River Forest. The health system offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. Previously utilising different EHR systems for acute and ambulatory care, Resilience Healthcare will now benefit from Paragon's integrated clinical, financial, and ambulatory solution across all care settings. Paragon, delivered via the Azure cloud, ensures a reliable, scalable system fortified by Microsoft's advanced security controls.

In addition to Paragon, Resilience Healthcare will adopt several solutions from Altera's Ventus portfolio, including Ventus Intelligent Coding, Ventus Contract Management, and Ventus Compliance Advisor. These solutions offer efficient charge capture, payer management, and Medicare compliance, respectively, providing a comprehensive suite of tools to address the diverse needs of the healthcare organisation.
