Atrium Health and Siemens Healthineers have announced a ‘value partnership’ aimed at improving health equity and quality of healthcare in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.
Atrium Health will purchase more than $140 million of devices and equipment from Siemens Healthineers entering into a ‘value partnership’ with them.
The Value Partnership model is a Siemens Healthineers offering that focuses on adding value beyond supplying equipment. The partnership will look at everything from leveraging AI to improve services to training the health workforce.
Dr. Rasu Shrestha, enterprise executive vice president and chief strategy and transformation officer for Atrium Health said: "This agreement with Siemens Healthineers will help Atrium Health push the boundaries of innovations in clinical care, research and community impact”.
