Smartaly and Ambiq to develop AI-powered, week-long ECG monitor

Ambiq and Smartaly have collaborated to introduce an AI-powered handheld ECG monitor, merging low-power semiconductor technology with cutting-edge design expertise. Leveraging Ambiq's Apollo3 SoC, the device achieves an outstanding week-long battery life while continuously tracking heart activity. With over 99% accuracy and AI capabilities, it provides real-time insights into heart health, enabling early detection of abnormalities and prompt intervention.

The ECG monitor is designed for everyday use, being lightweight, portable, and boasting extended standby life. It seamlessly connects to smart devices via Bluetooth, allowing users to securely transfer and analyse their heart health data. At the heart of this innovation lies Ambiq's Apollo3 SoC, employing Subthreshold Power Optimization Technology (SPOT) to achieve exceptional power efficiency, ensuring prolonged battery life.
