Teladoc Health to incorporate Microsoft AI for automated clinical documentation

Teladoc Health is expanding its collaboration with Microsoft to integrate AI solutions into its platform, enabling automated clinical documentation creation during virtual exams. 

The integration will involve Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Cognitive Services, and Nuance Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX). Teladoc Health's enterprise platform, Solo, will incorporate these technologies to provide virtual care, while Teladoc Health Medical Group will use Nuance DAX Express for its care visits. 

The partnership aims to alleviate administrative burdens on clinicians and enhance the doctor-patient relationship. 

This collaboration builds upon the previous partnership between Teladoc and Microsoft to streamline telehealth technology and administrative processes. Teladoc's stock also rose following the announcement.
