Tiny Health, Astarte Medical partner on gut health program for infants

Astarte Medical, a prominent paediatric clinical intelligence company, is partnering with Tiny Health, creators of gut microbiome tests for infants and expecting parents. 

They aim to develop a clinical technology solution to support gut health in preterm and critically ill infants in neonatal ICUs. By combining Astarte Medical's NICUbiome dataset and NICUtrition EMR-integration platform with Tiny Health's metagenomics sequencing and profiling expertise, healthcare providers can identify risks and monitor the gut health of preterm babies. 

This partnership aims to provide evidence-based precision nutrition care models, ultimately improving growth, neurodevelopment, and long-term immune health in preterm infants. 

Additionally, Tiny Health's microbiome test screens for microbes that can impact a premature baby's development, offering valuable insights for early health risk mitigation.
