Trialbee and Savvy Cooperative collaborate to enable improved patient input in clinical trials

Trialbee has today announced a strategic partnership with Savvy Cooperative, with the aim of addressing challenges for clinical trials patients including finding appropriate clinical trials and the lack of opportunity they have to express their experience to the industry as consumers of healthcare.

Trialbee is a global data and technology platform for patient recruitment and enrollment in clinical trials. The Trialbee Honey platform facilitates hyper-target patient recruitment for clinical trials, changing the patient recruitment process by funnelling data insights across all channels, sources, partners, and sites. Trialbee engages patients from various disease communities for clinical trials and provides an opportunity for them to contribute insights to research. Meanwhile, Savvy Cooperative is a patient-owned platform that supports the healthcare industry to gather patient insights for better patient-centred products and services.

The partnership will begin with a pilot for Savvy Cooperative members with either multiple sclerosis or lupus. Here, Savvy Cooperative members will be introduced to specific clinical trials with an invitation to participate through the Trialbee Honey platform. Any potential participants will be invited to join Savvy Cooperative’s #AskPatients community, to share their experiences for future research.

“Savvy exists because every patient voice matters, and has a measurable impact,” added Ronnie Sharpe, Founder and COO of Savvy Cooperative. “In this partnership, Trialbee is helping us provide a forum to patients before they even decide whether to participate in a clinical trial – giving sponsors the opportunity to put these valuable insights into action and set their study up for long-term success with engaged patients who appreciate they were truly heard.”
