Ultrahuman has launched the HealthEx PowerPlug, integrating electronic medical records with continuous biometric data from the Ultrahuman Ring. The U.S.-focused feature combines verified clinical histories with wearable measurements to give users a unified timeline of medical events and physiological trends.
Powered by HealthEx, a consumer-directed health data platform, the integration uses the federally backed Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) to retrieve longitudinal patient records from hospitals, health systems, outpatient clinics and diagnostic laboratories. Following identity verification, users can access records without separately signing into individual patient portals.
The PowerPlug maps 532 clinical conditions, medications and surgical procedures onto the biometric timeline within the Ultrahuman app. Clinical events can be viewed alongside resting heart rate, heart rate variability, nocturnal skin temperature deviations and deep sleep architecture. This enables users to examine how medication starts, diagnoses or procedures coincide with changes in wearable measurements.
The software also evaluates medical-record timestamps to identify potentially missed follow-ups. For chronic conditions, abnormal laboratory findings or medication regimens requiring periodic monitoring, it can flag overdue tests such as lipid panels, HbA1c testing or specialist consultations. A “Visit Pack” feature creates exportable summaries combining active medications, diagnoses, wearable trends, suggested questions and screening requests for physician appointments.
For U.S. Ultrahuman Ring users, HealthEx is available through the PowerPlugs marketplace for $4.99 per month or $45.99 annually. HealthEx’s standalone Wallet for aggregating longitudinal health records remains free. Ultrahuman also plans to extend clinical-record integration to its Vitamin D, GLP-1 and Respiratory Health PowerPlugs.
The feature is positioned as FDA-exempt general wellness software. Data sharing is opt-in and revocable, with policies prohibiting health-data sales, third-party advertising tracking and unauthorized AI model training.
