Vivante Health, a digital gastrointestinal health company, has signed a national distribution contract with health insurer UnitedHealthcare (UHC), making it the first digestive health solution available on the UHC Hub.
Vivante's GIThrive platform offers personalised care plans, symptom tracking, educational content, and self-guided behavioural health modules for patients. It also provides access to a team of healthcare providers, including coaches, dietitians, and physicians.
This partnership aims to help individuals suffering from digestive conditions like GERD, irritable bowel syndrome, and inflammatory bowel disease, as well as those with undiagnosed gastrointestinal issues.
In the U.S., 60 to 70 million people are affected by digestive diseases. Vivante Health recently secured a $31 million Series B funding round, further expanding its offerings in the digital gastrointestinal health space.
